MSc in Legal and Tax Management - Study Legal and Tax Management in France, Europe

successful foundation

Since 1990 EDHEC Business School has been offering specialised programmes in business law. The School's French-taught law programme has become one of the most successful law programmes ever taught in a French Grande Ecole. EDHEC Business School has decided to bring together this curriculum experience and its research expertise in the field of law and management by launching a one year English-language business law programme: the Master in Science in Legal & Tax Management which will open on EDHEC's Lille campus in September 2009.

integrated research findings

Law professors at EDHEC Business School are involved in the LegalEdhec Research Centre which produces a high level insight in the field of law and management, studying in what extent the law and lawyers may contribute efficiently to overall company performance. Students benefit from this research centre through the integration of core findings in the programme curriculum.

The MSc in Legal & Tax Management seeks to offer students a global intelligence of the relationships between companies and their legal environment, together with an in-depth understanding of the practice of business law in international law firms and legal departments of companies.

This programme offers a practice-oriented and original curriculum, designed for students who aim to work as business lawyers, in-house counsels or compliance officers. The objective of the curriculum is not only to introduce students to the best legal practices, but also to explain how these best practices must be at the heart of companies' strategy. In that extent, the programme may also be helpful for those students interested in working in sectors or positions where the legal dimension is strongly present.
